Celebrate and learn about trees virtually with The Arboretum's Tree Week Video Series! We will be posting videos every day on various tree related subjects throughout Tree Week (October 10th -17th).

Visitor Information:

  • The Arboretum grounds and outdoor restrooms are open from 8 am to 8 pm daily.
  • Face coverings or masks are required.
  • Keep 6-10 feet between yourself and others (visitors and staff).
  • The Dorotha Smith Oatts Visitor Center, Kentucky Children's Garden, and water fountains are closed.
  • For more information about limiting the spread of COVID-19, go to

UK Football Home Game Day information
(Oct. 31, Nov. 14 & Dec. 5):

  • There is no visitor parking, but the grounds are open. 
  • The outdoor restrooms are closed. 
  • Game day parking and tailgating are prohibited.

Those wishing to use the grounds of The Arboretum for a UK-sponsored event must submit a request a minimum of 2 weeks in advance to UK Event Managment Services
