As you walk around The Arboretum, you will no doubt see our StoryWalk panels featuring pages from story books related to plants, weather, and more! These stories, chosen by our Education Coordinator and our partner, the Lexington Public Library, not only encourage reading, but help children connect and learn about the environment around them. Located throughout The Arboretum’s Horticultural Gardens and Displays, the 18 StoryWalk panels are a great activity to enjoy with your child. 

The StoryWalk panels will display:

• April – When Spring Comes by Kevin Henkes

• May – When Trees Walked by Nishant Tharani

• June – The Salamander Room by Anne Mazer
