Event Description
The Arboretum will be celebrating National Moth Week with our third annual Moth Night on Thursday, July 24th. Join us for this rare opportunity to experience The Arboretum after dark! Light sheets will be set up to attract moths and moth experts from UK’s Entomology department will be on hand to share information about what we find. Attendees are encouraged to submit photos of what they find to iNaturalist, so that we can record and track all the different species that utilize our urban forest.
All attendees are asked to bring their own flashlight or headlamp for this event.
