Scarecrow Parade

Event Description
The Arboretum is gearing up for fall, and you can help us decorate! It’s free to participate, and everyone is encouraged to enter: families, individuals, school groups, and others.
Whimsical and fun, garden themed, or spooky, we’d love to see your creativity. All scarecrows must be appropriate for visitors of all ages and be weather-worthy.
If you as an individual, family, or school group would like to create and display a scarecrow here at The Arboretum, please email us your registration information to arboretum@uky.edu, or give us your information at the Visitor Center.
The Visitor Center is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 AM to 4 PM. Entry forms will be due Wednesday, September 24th, and scarecrow installation will occur on the weekend of September the 27th.
The Scarecrow parade will last until October 17th, when the scarecrows must be taken down.
